CHAPTER BUCKS

Hey everyone, here’s an easy way to have fun and earn Chapter Bucks through the Dallas EWGA organization.  Those who volunteer for one of our monthly golf events, 9 & Wines, and social events will receive a certificate good for $20 in Chapter Bucks.  

Also, new Dallas EWGA members who attend a New Member Mixer, will receive $20 in Chapter Bucks. 

You can use Chapter Bucks to offset registration fees for any upcoming events in the year.  What a great way to participate AND save money!


When you become eligible for Chapter Bucks, C.J. Boss will send you a certificate.  To redeem your Chapter Bucks, just let C.J. know that you want to apply them to a registration.

GET GOLF READY EVENT - TUESDAY, MAY 22

The PGA, World Golf Foundation and EWGA (Executive Women's Golf Association) invite you to join us on Tuesday, May 22, from 5:00 to 7:15 p.m., at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving for a series of women's golf clinics taught by PGA Professionals. This event will include clinics on putting, chipping & pitching, iron shots, driver & fairway woods, and on-course management. The cost of the event is $25.00 which includes golf instruction, equipment rentals if needed, giveaways and a cocktail reception following the event.

GIRLFRIEND GOLF

The first season of GFG at Hank Haney is now in the record books and it was very successful with some days having over 20 participants. For many of our new members it was their first time ever on a course! The people of Hank Haney were wonderful and thanks to Joyce Condit for setting this up for us. Special recognition goes to Sharon Otto for making it to all five days. 
  
A big thank you to new member, Amy Jowell, for hosting the group at her lovely home after our final round. She makes a mean sangria so if she ever offers – say yes! 

Wednesday, May 2, the next session of GFG at Indian Creek in Carrollton started and will run through June 13. Total cost is $28.15 which includes 9 holes, cart, small bucket of range balls and GPS. Registration is now available on our website with payment to be made at the course. I will send out the pairings Wednesday mornings so if you require one of the later tee times or want to play with someone in particular let me know on Tuesday by email.
 

Thanks again to all for participating in this wonderful kickoff to our golf season. I look forward to teeing it up at Indian Creek.

NINE AND WINE SERIES


Our first Nine & Wine of the season was held at Brookhaven County Club on Sunday, April 22. With over 20 participants we were fortunate to have perfect weather, a great short game clinic, and a beautiful day on the course. Thanks to all of the participants and their guests for making this an enjoyable event. 

Mark your calendar for the next Nine & Wine set for Saturday, June 16 at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club.
