Rule of the Week

Teeing the Ball – The teeing area is a rectangle formed by the line between the tee-markers and two club lengths behind them. You can tee the ball anywhere in this rectangle. Therefore, be careful not to tee in front of the tee markers or more than two club lengths behind them, but anywhere else in this area is completely acceptable. For example, you can tee as close to the tee markers as you would like, or in the line between them, just not in front of them. This is acceptable even if this causes you to place your feet outside of the rectangle.

Jennifer Beck

Why did you join the EWGA?
I joined the EWGA to become the Photography Sponsor and network with women that were professionals. Offering my services to the group and meeting more people for business was my first goal.

Secondly, I joined to improve my golf game and I thought playing and learning from women would be better than what I had been doing, which was trying to learn from my husband and playing with mostly guys (not as fun and a little intimidating) .

What is your profession?
I am a professional photographer specializing in Commercial and Corporate photography, with over 15 years in the industry. I do business portraits, corporate event coverage, product photography, interiors and exteriors of homes and buildings, custom stock images, and fine art photography.

What do you love most about being a member?
The thing I love most about being a EWGA member is the opportunity to compete or just have fun with a group of really great women golfers.

Something Personal to Share…
My husband Eric and I live in Plano and have a 3.5 yr. old boy, Justin. Two dogs - black lab and a dachshund.

CHAPTER BUCKS

Hey everyone, here’s an easy way to have fun and earn Chapter Bucks through the Dallas EWGA organization. Those who volunteer for one of our monthly golf events, 9 & Wines, and social events will receive a certificate good for $20 in Chapter Bucks.

Also, new Dallas EWGA members who attend a New Member Mixer, will receive $20 in Chapter Bucks.

You can use Chapter Bucks to offset registration fees for any upcoming events in the year. What a great way to participate AND save money!

When you become eligible for Chapter Bucks, C.J. Boss will send you a certificate. To redeem your Chapter Bucks, just let C.J. know that you want to apply them to a registration.
