It's all about paying it forward. On Sunday evening, an 8 year old girl shared her feelings about the game of golf at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, FL as part of the 8th annual EWGA Foundation Fundraiser to support LPGA-USGA Girls Golf. She shared softly, "It's fun. I really like it."

I am the only competitor from the Quad Cities Iowa Chapter who will be going on to compete in the Championship Finals Oct 1-2, 2010. I have a room reserved with two queen beds at the Lodge at Geneva Ridge, which is a very nice resort only 2 miles from Geneva National. I will be volunteering at Georgetown University Women's Golf 2010 Hoya Invitational Tournament at the Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Maryland on March 29 or 30, 2010. Interacting will many collegiate women golfers in the NCAA. I'm hoping to introduce EWGA and it's student memberships and the benefits of joining chapters to some of the young women golfers in attendance. Will blog on this experience next week.

I'm from the Quad Cities Iowa Chapter and will be the only person in our Chapter traveling to Lake Geneva for the Championship Finals. I have a room reserved with 2 queen beds at the Lodge at Geneva Ridge, which is only two miles from the tournament course. The resort is new and looks fantastic. They gave me a special EWGA rate, so they're not quite as expensive as the other options.
