Best Ball

Best ball can be played using 2-, 3- or 4-person teams. Each player on the team plays his or her own golf ball throughout the round, and on each hole the low score - or "best ball" - of the group serves as the team score.

Golfpalooza

pa•loo•za (pə-lōō'zə) n.  Slang.  A humdinger.  Something outstanding of its kind.  An extravaganza [Taken from ‘lollapalooza'.  Orig. Unknown].

The EWGA Golfpalooza (formerly known as the EWGA Conference) is one of the most anticipated events of the year, bringing together women from across the Association with the common goal of playing golf and lots of it, having fun, forging friendships, and gaining personally and professionally while having fun.  Why the name change?  EWGA members have spoken - they want golf, fun, and a lot of laughs, and we aim to deliver!

Hot Linking

Hot linking is the practice of displaying media such as  images files, video and sound files on a web page when those files are physically hosted on another server/domain. Using YouTube for our video's is a good example of how our Microsites can use an outside site to serve up large files and utilize someone else's

Lost Ball

When you can't find your ball within five minutes of starting to look for it. A lost ball is loss of stroke and distance. If you believe you ball is lost you must return to the place it was struck and hit again. If you believe your ball may be lost you should announce and play a provisional ball. Provisional balls must be announced and help keep the pace of play.
