About EWGA With the continuing advancement of women into the management and executive ranks of business, it is vitally important to be able to enjoy and have access to informal networks like the golf course where business is discussed and careers are enhanced.
It was for this reason the Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) was formed in 1991. From the original 28 women who participated in the first clinic in Florida, thousands have been introduced, or reintroduced, to the game of golf through EWGA clinics and programs in over 100 chapters in the United States and Canada.
We are making a difference for women both on the golf course and in the business world.
The EWGA provides women the opportunity to gain proficiency in this sport in a fun, welcoming and comfortable environment, among other businesswomen, among friends.

Invaluable Business Insight Playing golf has become the quintessential business tool. Many rules of golf apply to the business world, being prepared, paying attention, assessing situations quickly and maintaining one's composure.
The game allows a player to know the other playing partners' personalities. Situations created on the golf course reveal how the player responds to success or failure, performance under pressure, and how well you abide by the rules and ethics of the game.
These characteristics are all key aspects of business relationships and influence how clients and colleagues regard each other. It's not surprising that many women executives who play golf claim that their biggest business or sales deals were made while playing golf.
Whether you are working to break through the glass ceiling or the grass ceiling, if you are in a position that involves relationship development, leveraging golf for business increases your opportunities and the EWGA can show you the way!
