Dallas EWGA Board of Directors Community
Jackie LaFollette - President
joining EWGA in 2013, I’ve had the opportunity to meet some fabulous
women from Dallas and across the country from other EWGA chapters. I
wish I had found this organization years ago! My new friends and
business connections are priceless. Getting to compete at different
levels has been both challenging and rewarding.
As much as
I love playing golf with my husband, now I have the ability to play
golf with other women and go on “girl golf getaways”!
are so many wonderful benefits available to our members through EWGA.
Come join us for a round or two and meet my friends and hopefully you'll
want to join our wonderful organization, too!

came into golf later in life, in my forties. It was something I'd
grown up with, as my dad was an avid golfer, but I was never interested
I was living in Iowa and agreed to take a few group lessons with
friends. Our PGA professional started us out the right way, I hit the
ball and was hooked!
After my divorce, I moved to
Texas and golf was my gateway to getting acquainted and meeting new
friends. In EWGA, I have found an organization that melds golf,
friendship, travel and competition.
Barbara Miller - Member Recruitment Director
I found this amazing group of golfers through a referral from a friend in April of 2014. I've been playing golf for many years and have been looking for a group like this. The EWGA has just the right mix of instruction, practice, and a bit of friendly competition. There are many enthusiastic golfers of every skill level. I've had the opportunity to meet extraordinary women who work in a variety of fields. We've had a wonderful time getting together with the common interest of the great game of golf. When I'm not playing golf I love to travel and oil paint. Work occasionally gets in the way of all my fun when I find myself being a System Engineer specializing in Linux server and Virtualization architecture.
Elaine Stillman - Finance and Records Director
Having owned a giftware manufacturing business for 30 years, I was winding down that phase of my life and attempting to find an outdoor activity to replace the many hours I had spent at work. New to golf, I was introduced to the Dallas Chapter of the EWGA by Crystal Moore in the fall of 2013. My goal was to find other women to play with. I scored on that goal and then some! Not only did I find a great group at Girlfriend Golf every week (including socializing afterwards), but I had many opportunities to meet new golfers and play at many different courses all over the Metroplex every month. The group embraces all skill levels and the camaraderie is friendly and supportive. I was thrilled to take this Board position to contribute to this great organization.

One of my new missions in life is to promote and recruit other women to learn to play golf. I've been a member of Dallas EWGA since 2014 and I've enjoyed posting chapter activities on my personal Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages! I want to make women aware
of this great organization in Dallas and encourage others to join and play the game of
