Quotes From Dallas Chapter Members
"I am so happy that I joined EWGA, and the experience...and getting to know very very nice ladies !!!! I also learned that our EWGA members know the rules of game much better than any regular / weekend golfers. I learned more about the game in last two months than past 10 years!!!"

"I feel that I made a great decision to join EWGA."

Quotes from EWGA Members
"Being a member of the EWGA has improved my golf game and has also improved myself worth. This organization cares about its’ members, not only who they are but how they are both personally and professionally. Through this organization I have found the family that I never had, and made friendships across the country. When I talk to other people about EWGA, it is with a sense of pride that I belong to an organization that I know cares that I am a member. I am proud to say I am a member of the EWGA."

"The greatest benefit has been the personal growth and sense of achievement. I’ve established working relationships with all sorts of businesses and I’ve been blessed by life friendships made through the EWGA."

"Working full-time and serving on several boards, I just kept procrastinating until I heard about the EWGA new golfer clinic. Now I am comfortable in participating in corporate golf outings and I truly enjoy this great sport."

Additional Quotes from EWGA Members
"The EWGA has been a life support system for me, especially after the loss of my husband. It has filled my days with activities including golf outings, Chapter leadership roles and business networking to bring my real estate business to the next level. It’s also been about members helping members across the country. I recently met with a EWGA member from New Hampshire about moving to Florida. She plans to join the Naples Chapter next year. I think I will even be able to help place her in a great job. So you see, it’s much more than just playing golf."

We’ve all heard about the onion and how you can peel off a layer to reveal a new layer, new learning, again and again. Golf has so many rules, it can be intimidating! When I think about what the EWGA has to offer, I go right to the onion. Start with the clinics, new golfer programs, rules, handicap and etiquette seminars. Then add the insight gained from reading Golf for Women magazine. Peeling back a layer, take note of all the new friends you’ve made. It’s a safe place to learn the game and grow your skill and confidence. Peel back another layer, participate in monthly golf outings - socially or stretch and do it competitively. Keep growing. Peel off another layer and give back. Volunteer on a Chapter committee or take on a leadership role. Peel back another layer. Take the golf-related skills that you’ve learned as EWGA members, both on and off the course and apply them to your business. Golf enriches your life in so many ways, and the EWGA is there with every layer you choose to explore.

I’ve been a member since 1999 and it has been the most rewarding experience both personally and professionally. Personally, it has offered me the opportunity to meet many new people and contribute to an organization whose focus happens to revolve around an activity near and dear to my heart. Professionally, because of my affiliation with EWGA, I’ve been able to establish key relationships in the workplace.
